LAST WEEK WHEN SETH GODIN CAME TO TOWN our company was among those that sponsored the event. Seth was his amazing self—no surprise there. He truly is “the best intuitive marketer alive today” (as he has often been described). The neat thing is that he’s also a kind, giving, unpretentious soul. At the end of the event, he was completely out of time and running late for another commitment. Last year when I purchased his limited-edition, hand-signed Purple Cow print (as the rallying icon for our office) I was unable to attend the signing party he threw in NYC. I caught his attention as he was preparing to leave and asked him if he could take one minute to snap this photo. He graciously replied, “Of course!”
